Privacy Policy

Effective October 24, 2026

Stride Kingdom ("the app", "we", "us") is a walking adventure app created by Martin Egwuagu. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

The short version

Stride Kingdom reads your step count from Apple Health and from your iPhone's motion sensor, with your permission, to level up your hero. Your steps and your game progress stay on your iPhone. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.

Information the app accesses

Step count (Apple Health). When you tap Allow, the app reads your daily step count from Apple Health so it can turn your steps into experience points (XP). The app only reads your steps. It does not write, change, or delete anything in Apple Health.

Motion & Fitness (iPhone step counter). The app also uses your iPhone's built-in step counter, through Apple's Motion & Fitness permission, so your steps show up as you walk. This data is used on your device to display your step count. It is not sent to us and is not stored on any server. You can decline this permission, and the app will still use Apple Health.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your game progress on your iPhone so it is still there when you reopen the app. This includes your XP total and a record of how many of today's steps you have already collected. This information is stored locally using standard iOS storage and is not sent to us or to any server.

What we do not do

Testing through TestFlight

If you install the app through Apple's TestFlight, Apple may provide us with crash reports and any feedback or screenshots you choose to send. We use this only to find problems and improve the app. Apple's own privacy policy governs the information TestFlight collects.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app does not collect personal information, there is none to share or delete.

Your choices

You can turn off the app's access to your steps at any time in the Health app or in your iPhone settings under Health, Data Access & Devices. You can turn off Motion & Fitness access in your iPhone settings under Privacy & Security, Motion & Fitness. If you turn off both, the app cannot turn your steps into XP. Deleting the app removes the progress stored on your device.

Future features

We plan to add features such as private groups where family and friends can see each other's progress. If we add features that create accounts, store information on a server, or share information between people, we will update this policy first and ask for your permission before collecting or sharing anything new.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app grows. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
